About Us

In our eleventh  year, the Truck Convoy for Wishes, benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation^® has become somewhat of a phenomenon, with local truckers and trucking companies raising money through pledges to support the children of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. At first glance, the combination of big rig trucks and seriously ill children may seem to be somewhat odd.

But, after witnessing the strength and joy these kids get from the power and might of the trucks, the relationship is a "natural," and one that is enormously gratifying for everyone. The depth of emotion at the Convoy is amazing, and fully describes the power that a wish granted evokes. We have been completely overwhelmed by the response, support, and encouragement we have received from our drivers, their families, the wish families, and complete strangers for this very magical event.

We look forward with much excitement to our 11th Annual Convoy on May 6, 2012 - so mark your calendars and plan to attend as we celebrate the joy and magic of a wish.
