As some of you have noticed, there is a new tag line at the top of our homepage and I have had questions as to what "A Destination Joy Event" means. Make-A-Wish® National wanted to have a signature event that, when people heard the name, they would immediately know it would benefit the kids. So "A Destination Joy Event" was born. What it would mean is any event that involved motion would be designated with this tag line.

Frito Lay® became involved in this campaign, and now the Destination Joy Events are being brought to everyone by Frito Lay. But Frito Lay's involvement does not just stop with a name. They have chosen 25 events nationwide to carry this special tag line, and we are very proud to say that the Truck Convoy for Wishes was selected as one of the 25 events!

I am honored that they felt our event was worthy of this designation, and by being selected, we will also receive a $2,000.00 donation from Frito Lay.

This campaign does not officially kick off until June 5, 2007, however they were so impressed by our event they wanted to include it this year.
